Rates & Billing

Current Rates:
Residents are billed bi-monthly for their water, sewer, and rubbish fees.

The current water rates are:
  • $19.21 per 1,000 gallons of usage
  • $22 fixed water infrastructure fee per month
The current sewer rates are: 
  • $4.03 per 1,000 gallons of usage
  • $15 fixed sewer infrastructure fee per month
The current rubbish rates are:
  • $21.65 per month for non-seniors
  • $18.56 per month for seniors (age 65 and older, contact Village Hall to apply for the rate)
 

Ways to Pay Your Utility Bill:

  • In Person, Mail, or Drop Box: Pay in person, via mail or drop off in the white box located in front of Village Hall labeled "Village Payment Only". Village Hall is located at 10300 W Roosevelt Rd, Westchester, IL 60154. Accepted payment methods include cash, money orders, personal/business checks, and Visa/MasterCard/Discover (American Express not accepted).
  • E-Billing: Go paperless! Have your utility bill emailed—just provide a valid email address. Complete the form and return it to Village Hall in person, by mail, or via the payments drop box. Click here for E-Billing Sign up
  • Automatic Debits: ​Simplify your payments by setting up automatic debits from your checking or savings account. Fill out an Application form and submit it along with a voided check in person or by mail.
  • Online Payment: Pay your bill conveniently online through our E-Pay services. Visit our website's "Online Payments" tab or click here. Select "Water/Rubbish/Sewer Bill" and input your 11-digit account number (do not include dashes) to proceed with the payment.

  • Water Usage Portal: This tool allows residents to view real-time water usage, receive automated alerts for leaks or unusual activity, access billing information, and more — all in one convenient place. Don’t miss this opportunity to take control of your water usage, avoid surprises on your bill, and help us build a more efficient, responsive utility system. Click here to register.
  • Water Fixture Efficiency Reimbursement Grant: This grant assists low-income residents in reducing water usage and offsetting the cost of high-efficiency fixtures. Eligible residents can receive up to 90% reimbursement on the purchase and installation of lead-free toilets, faucets, and showerheads—with a lifetime household maximum of $500.   • Utility Bill Hardship Program: This program assists residents who are experiencing financial difficulty in keeping up with their water and sewer bill. This program allows eligible account holders to apply for a payment arrangement through a formal hardship hearing. Click here to learn more.
