Village to Continue Negotiations with Culver's Franchisee for Mannheim & Roosevelt Site.
At the December 16 Village Board meeting, the Village Board approved a terms sheet related to the vacant property at Mannheim and Roosevelt. This approval allows the Village to continue moving forward with negotiations for a potential redevelopment of the three-acre site with XCeed Commercial Real Estate and a Culver’s franchisee.
This is not the sale of the property; rather, it is the first step toward negotiating a redevelopment agreement, which would then be presented to the Village Board for further review and consideration prior to a sale. As negotiations continue, the Village will evaluate the proposal to ensure any future use of the property positively impacts the community.
